- this is why an atheist can never believe in a creator bcz by believing in a creator, he would've to accept devine law unless u follow deism i.e. god created everything & left everything - 19:50

- attaining safety from the hell-fire which has been prepared for the ppl of disbelief - 20:50
- the ilm ul-kalam that the salaf despised i.e. muslims who established their belief based on philosophi - 21:30
- ilm ul-kalam that is discussed here is based on 2 things - (a) textual proof of qur'an, sunnah & as well as ijm'a (b) rational proofs of th mind & responding to the rational arguments of the philosophers - 21:55

- the kalam that was condemned was the kalam of mu'tazila i.e. influenced by greek piylosophy - 22:45
- the modern day pseudosalafi movement would claim that ash'ari & maturidi creed is based upon greek philosophy - 22:55

- the only reason a person would fall short in acts of worshping is bcz his eman would be weak - bcz they have not uprooted the doubts from their hearts - they have not gone out to remove those doubts from seeking knowledge - 29:15
- what is discussed - (1) necessary things (2) impermissible things (3) permissible things - 29:50
- 'iteqad meaning - that judgement i.e. firm & doesn't accept doubt with the enablement of allah - 31:20
- jahmiya sect - jaham bin safwan is the founder of mu'tazila sect - 32:25
- imama abu hanifa to jaham bin safwan, "get out u kafir" - 32:41
- belief of mu'taizla, "human creates his own actions" - 33:25
- belief of ahle sunnati wal jama'a, "creats all actions" - 33:30
- it doesn't contradict free will - allah has created free will & with that human being makes a choice. once he decides to make a choice allah creates for him the action that he has intended - 33:40
- this is the meaning of, "la hawla wala quwwata illa billah" or "wama tasahuna illa aiyyasha allah" - 34:30
- fire burns bcz allah always sustains the nature of the fire burning if allah decides to remove the burning nature of fire or cutting natur of knife, he may remove that - 34:55
- we may intent something but unless allah doesn't will it, it dosn't take place & it doesn't negate free will - 35:15

7. don't delay doing tawbah cause death comes unannounced - 01:40:47
8. protect ur heart while performing salah.
9. protect ur throat while eating, don't overeat.
10. protect ur eyes when u r in someone's house, don't stare at their women.
11. protect ur speech while in gathering, don't talk unnecessarily or too much.
12. ppl becomes mad when angry, but at the end becomes ashamed.
13. softness is the core of wisdom.
14. authority comes to him who hides the secrets. don't say ur secrets even to ur friends.
15. pious & righteous woman is like crowns which a king puts on his head.
16. wicked woman is like a burden which is put on the back of an old & weak man.
17. save urself from continuous questioning as it removes shiness from face. it's for the beggers.
18. save urself from anxiety. it causes trial in religion, weakens souls at the end causes regret.
19. when u see a gathering where ppl r talking about allah, then sit with them. if u r a scholar then u would benefit them & if u r ignorant then they would teach u something.
20. when allah doesn't think good of a nation, he causes argument within them & they become out of good deeds.
21. when u see ppl r proud of their speech,  the be proud of ur silence.
22. sit with the gathering of scholars cause allah awakes the heart with noor of knowledge like he gives life to the earth through rains from sky.
23. this dunya is a deep ocean where a lot of ppl r doomed. u'll reach to safety by making a boat the with fear of allah, eman, islamic commandments & trust in allah.
24. enduring hardship by obedience of allah is better than gaining honor by disobeying allah.
25. continue fearing allah & allah won't disown with his blessings.
26. glamour fades from faces of liars.
27. go more to funerals instead of weddings as funerals remind the hereafter & weddings increase desires.
28. better to give foods to hungry dogs instead of overeating.
